Chewing gum, bubble gum and even Blu Tack are all sticky substances that do not mix well with carpet! Follow these simple steps to remove gum from your carpet, using a humble ice cube!

WHAT YOU WILL NEED ?

Ice cubes or an ice pack

Paper towel

GUM CLEANING STEPS

1. Place ice cubes or an ice pack on the gum to harden it.
2. Once the gum has hardened, carefully peel it off the carpet fibres.
3. Blot with paper towel to dry.

TOP TIP

 Use the same method to remove Blu Tack from carpet.

 If there is leftover residue on the carpet, try using Britex Spot n’ Stain to remove it.
